Judging by appearances it seems that serious consideration was given to including That’s All Right from Elvis’ second show of his August Las Vegas engagement, in the 2001 re-edited version of That’s The Way It Is. This is derived from the footage having had the “Property of Turner” watermark removed, and being properly edited by including several different camera angles, although both the picture and sound remained in the raw unmastered state.
Whatever the case may have been, the producers remained with the original opening of That’s All Right from the first nights show, and not this 11 August dinner show rendition which shows Elvis wearing his Concha suit for the very first time.
As with all of these videos, to get the most out of them I highly recommend you use ear /headphones and turn the volume up as much as you dare!
