A friend sent me this photo this morning and it was like having a warm blanket covering me. The flood of emotions and memories was almost overwhelming.
This photo of my beloved grandmother Dodger, Uncle Vernon and Aunt Gladys was taken during the filming of Loving You. They are so young looking and it makes me happy and sad to see them. I’m filled with love for them but it’s bitter sweet because they are all gone now.
The wonderful thing is though that they are in my heart and my memories and I will carry them with me forever. I try to live my life counting my blessings and telling everyone that I love how much I do love them. I never want to have regrets or have to look back and say if only I had let them know how much I cared.
