March 19 , 1955 Elvis performs on KPRC-TV and at the Grand Prize Jamboree, Eagles Hall, Houston, Texas. Other entertainers include Hoot Gibson, Sonny Burns, The Brown Brothers, Tommy Sands, James O Gwynne, Cote Wilcox, The Dixie Drifters, Ernie Hunter, Herb Remington and Tommy Collins.

March 19 , 1956 Elvis performs the Township Auditorium in Columbia, South Carolina.

March 19 ,1957 Elvis checks out the home his parents found earlier in the week .

As soon as he had seen Graceland he put down a $1,000 deposit toward the purchase of the property .

March 19 ,1960 Elvis rents the Rainbow Rollerdrome for a roller-skating war with the guys .
