Normally Elvis didn’t like to parties where other celebrities were present but tgis tim he made an exception! It was his own party after all. You can see Elvis with Sammy Davis Jr. & Carry Grant. Some video footage of this party is available on the new dvd/Blu ray version of “That’s The way It Is” and on the dvd/cd/book set “That’s The Way It Is – The Complete Works”. It is nice to see a relaxed informal Elvis just enjoying himself. I have the feeling that with the guys he was always putting up an act pretending to enjoy himself but I might be wrong.
