Elvis performed in “The Futrell High School” Marianna, Arkansas

1956

Elvis performed in Schreveport ” Louisiana Hayride” Louisiana.
He sings “Baby Let`s Play House” “I Got A Woman” “Only You” “Tutti Frutti” and “That`s All Right”.

1957

Songwriters Jerry Lieber and Mike Stoller are summoned to Hollywood’s Paramount Studios to write songs for Elvis’ next movie — their first direct writing gig for the singer,
although he’d already covered the duo’s “Hound Dog” and “Love Me.”

1966

Elvis spends nearly $5,000 for a professional slot-car race track to be installed at Graceland, in keeping with the “Memphis Mafia’s” new obsession. Elvis plans to extend the mansion to accommodate the track, but when his interest in slot car racing wanes,
this is transformed into what is now known as the Trophy Room.

1969

Elvis’ cold, present from the beginning of the sessions, worsens, forcing eventual vocal retakes of “I’m Movin’ On” and “Gentle On My Mind.”

1976

 

Elvis Presley arrives in Honolulu for his January 14, 1973 concert, Aloha from Hawaii via Satellite

Elvis buys three Cadillacs and two Lincolns (worth $70,000 total) for members of his entourage and members of the Denver PD.

1977

Elvis, Ginger and Rosemary returnes to memphis.
