In the evening Elvis flew to Las Vegas for a short trip at the New Frontier.
This was Elvis’ first trip to Vegas and he was entranced.
Paramount Pictures signed Elvis Presley to a three-movie contract just
a few days after his first screen test.
1957
Elvis performed at the Sports Arena, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania at 2.30 and 8.00 p.m.
Some students threw eggs at Elvis during the evening show and even hit the guitar,
which was laid down on the stage.
1962
Elvis returned to Los Angeles.
1968
Elvis and Priscilla went to Las Vegas. There they went to the Flamingo, to see Tom Jones’ midnight show.
1970
Elvis bought a 6 door 1969 Mercedes limo.
1972
Elvis performed at the Olympia Stadium, Detroit, Michigan at 8:30 p.m. The crowd was 16216 and Elvis wore the “White pinwheel” suit with the Lion head belt and red cape.
