While Elvis was in Denver, he spoke for a time with the off-duty police officers who were charged with protecting him. He showed them his collection of police badges and was disappointed when they could only find one honorary badge. He even plans to come back to Denver to collect a real badge. He also invited Denver police officers to come see him the next time he played in Las Vegas.
