Elvis Presley (aka Tulsa McLean) is pictured with his film choreographer Charles O’Curran (April 5, 1913 – June 26, 1984) on the set of his fifth movie, G.I. Blues at Paramount Studios in Hollywood, CA.

(They had already worked together on Loving You and King Creole.)

Elvis’s first post-Army movie was filmed from April 29 to June 25, 1960 and released in the U.S. on November 23, 1960.

This photo is to be found in the Deluxe box-set “Inside G.I. Blues” (Elvis Unlimited , 2006).

Charles O’Curran was an

American choreographer, actor and film director.

Married to Betty Hutton (1952-1955) and Patti Page (1956-1972).

Born: April 5, 1913 in Atlantic City, New Jersey.

Dead: June 26, 1984 in Granada Hills, California.
