September 14, 1955 Elvis performed at the Fleming Stadium, Wilson, North Carolina.

September 14, 1957 Elvis responds to Scotty’s previous statement through an open letter in the same newspaper: “If you had come to me we would have worked things out. But you went to the papers and tried to make me look bad.. All I can say to you is “good luck”.

September 14, 1970 Elvis performs at the Municipal Auditorium in Mobile, Alabama. The group stays at the Admiral Semmes Hotel as Elvis had in 1955. The hotel is now in such a terrible state that Elvis complains bitterly. Joe Esposito tries to arrange other accommodations but is told there are no other rooms available. Before ending the tour Elvis gives all the guys a bonus , After deducting the Colonel’s share Elvis makes over $174,000 on for the 6 day tour.
