Gladys & Elvis in 1953… This before Elvis’ mother got depressed, addicted & sick. Both were still carefree and Elvis’ big succes hadn’t set in yet. She didn’t have to start worrying yet. They almost could live the life they had in Tupelo without the screaming fans and without the colonel Gladys never trusted. Gladys didn’t care about Elvis being a star! She didn’t care about the big money! She only cared about her sons wellbeing!
