LOVE AND MERCY FOR ELVIS AND HIS FANS.

In April 1965, he was running.
One afternoon, Elvis’ hairdresser and spiritual advisor Larry Geller was drying his hair in the bathroom of his home on Perugia Way in Bel-Air, Los Angeles. Suddenly his cousin Billy Smith walked in and said: “Elvis, they’re here!”
Elvis smiled and said to Larry, “Come on Larry, I have a surprise.”
After finishing Elvis’ hair, they called the other boys and went to the area where the cars and vehicles were. There was a huge truck with 12 wonderful Harley Davidson motorcycles. Six blue and six red. Elvis has always been a big motorcycle lover, especially Harley Davidsons.
Elvis told them that this was a gift for them and they could choose what they wanted.
Everybody picked their favorite, but… There was still one motorcycle left.
At the door of the house, as always, there was a crowd of tourists and fans, waiting to see their idol.

Among the crowd was a boy of about 16, looking at them with the imagination and admiration of a little boy.
As they revved up their new motorcycles and had fun with them
Elvis saw the boy and asked Larry to follow him to the door and went towards the boy.
“They’re beautiful, aren’t they?” He told him.
The boy couldn’t believe Elvis was talking to him. I got excited… “Yes, they are,” he said.
Elvis asked if he had a motorcycle and the boy said no.
Elvis laughed, hugged the boy and said, “Now you have it.”
The boy still couldn’t believe it wasn’t a dream. He started his motorcycle and got on it. So happy and grateful!
Elvis and Larry rode home smiling as they watched the boy rev up his new motorcycle.
Then Elvis, never forgetting his roots, said to Larry: “Larry, when I saw the look in that boy’s eyes, I had to give him this motorcycle. When I was his age we were so poor, I was lucky to have shoes.”
