Plot: The racing driver Lucky Jackson (Elvis Presley) no longer just wants to win small races, but the Grand Prix in Las Vegas. In between are his competitor Elmo Manicini (Cesare Danova), who is a wealthy Italian count, the pretty young swimming teacher Rusty Martin (Ann-Margret), who would rather marry him than see him racing, and the wherewithal – but Lucky wins the race and – no wonder – Rusty. This film is certainly something very special, because Elvis and Ann-Margret play so intensely that the sparks fly even on the screen. The vocal numbers are top notch and the dance scenes are second to none.
