Plot:Lieutenant Vance Reno (Richard Egan), two of his younger brothers and other members of a Confederate cavalry force invade enemy lines during the American Civil War and take payrolls from the Yankee Army. Returning to their troops, they learn that the war is already over. They split the money and return home. The family reunion is a major disappointment for Vance; he was pronounced dead two years ago and his bride has since married his youngest brother Clint (Elvis Presley). Conflicts and misunderstandings arise over the stolen wage money, during which the Reno brothers are arrested and freed again. Clint, who is defending his brother Vance, is mortally wounded in a shootout.
