On Sunday, September 3, 1956, Elvis flies to Memphis, accompanied by his friend Nick Adams and his cousin Gene Smith, using the name Clint Reno, the character in your first film “Love Me Tender”. Elvis had finished shooting the movie two days earlier, on Friday the 21st.
Still at the Memphis Airport, you can see how Elvis and Nick Adams are having fun and pretending to fight, because Elvis just met the heavyweight champion Rocky Marciano. They both signed autographs at their meeting.
Then Elvis visited Sam Phillips and Marion Keisker, 706 Union Boulevard, Sun Records Studio, to show them their new car.
