Lisa Marie Presley, the singer daughter of King of Rock and Roll Elvis Presley, died on January 12 at the age of 54. The cause of death of Presley, who was found motionless in her home with her ex-husband and died after being brought to the hospital, was announced months later.
Elvis Presley passed away in 1977 at the age of 42. Doctors said the King of Rock and Roll died of a heart attack caused by addiction to prescription drugs. Elvis Presley’s daughter Lisa Marie Presley, his only child, also died last January. It was reported that Lisa Marie was found motionless by a cleaning lady in her home in Calabasas, California, which she shared with her first husband Danny Keough. It was reported that Keough performed CPR on Presley until paramedics arrived, but Presley, who was hospitalized, could not be saved.

The cause of Presley’s sudden death was revealed months later. The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office announced that the cause of death of Presley, a mother of four, was complications from small intestinal obstruction. “Lisa Marie Presley’s cause of death was determined to be small intestinal obstruction caused by scar tissue that developed after a bariatric surgery years ago. The manner of death is natural,” the statement said. On the other hand, Benjamin Keough, son of Lisa Marie Presley and grandson of Elvis Presley, ended his life by suicide in 2020 at the age of 27.
