Plot: Elvis plays American film and record star Johnny Tyronne, who is kidnapped while on tour in the Middle East because his karate skills are to be used. He saves the king of the country from an assassination attempt, frees him from the corrupt followers and in return receives the hand of his daughter Princess Shalimar, who had previously met and fallen in love outside the palace.

Sam Katzman, recognized as Hollywood’s “Quickie King,” shot this film in 18 days. This was of course very much in the spirit of Elvis’ manager Tom Parker, as it kept the production costs low.
