Plot: Elvis plays dark-haired Airman Josh Morgan, who is assigned to the Army to persuade a clan of hillbillies in Tennessee to sell their mountain land to the government to allow a missile base to be built there also one – blond Jodie Tatum, a nephew of “Pappy Tatum”, the boss of the hillbilly family. Both achieve their goals: the country is sold to the Air Force, Josh falls in love with Tatum’s daughter Azalea (Yvonne Craig) and Jodie is able to win the heart of Josh’s colleague Midge Riley.
