Plot: After two years of military service, Chad Gates (Elvis Presley), heir to a pineapple plantation, returns to Honolulu. According to his family, he should take over the plantation and marry befitting his status. But he wants to achieve something himself and prefers to work as a tourist guide for a travel agency that also employs his friend, a young Hawaiian woman, Maile (Joan Blackman). Eventually he was successful with his ideas and opened a travel agency together with Maile.

Elvis’ highest-grossing film. Everything was just right here: the Hawaiian scenery, a great soundtrack, beautiful co-stars and lots of Elvis!
