Elvis: That’s The Way It Is is a music documentary by Denis Sanders (director), with Elvis Presley and James Burton, from 1970. The Elvis Presley film was produced by Brad Arensman and has a running time of 108 minutes.

In addition to Elvis and his legendary band, “That’s The Way It Is” also features some of Elvis’ bodyguards and friends. These include: Tom Diskin, Joe Esposito, Lamar Fike, Felton Jarvis, Jim O’Brien, Al Pachucki, Bill Porter, Sonny West.

Celebrity guests featured in the documentary include Juliet Prowse, George Hamilton, and Sammy Davis Jr

The shooting took place from 07/14/1970 to 09/09/1970.
The exterior recordings were made at the International Hotel Las Vegas, the MGM Studios in Culver City, the Veterans Memorial Auditorium in Phoenix and at a fan meeting in Luxembourg.
Production cost: $ 1,300,000
The working title for the film was “ELVIS”.
A 100-year-old visitor was allowed to meet Elvis personally after a show.
In the credits of Elvis: That’s The Way It Is, the title “That’s The Way It Was” is briefly faded in.
