We can see Elvis driving his new car, the first Stutz BlackHawk, at his Hillcrest home in Beverly Hills. Jules Meyers, the dealership owner, was reluctant: he had explained that this car was the first Stutz to be manufactured and that he needed to show it off to future buyers. Then Elvis asked him the following question: ‘How do you think you are going to sell more cars: when are you driving it or when people see me driving it?’ After that, there is no arguing. He decided to sell to Elvis, in exchange for a day of displaying the model. In the last photo, we can see the car being shown at the LA Car Show. Curiosity: Jules was unsure whether to sell the first Stutz to Frank Sinatra or Elvis Presley. Frank lost because he didn’t want the car to being shown at the LA Car Show. Well, Mr. Sinatra was very angry that he didn’t get the first Stutz.
