956

The Colonel had arranged for Elvis to play a special matinee show for teenagers who for one
dollar not only got to see Elvis but were served one soft drink as well.

1957

Elvis arrived in Los Angeles and checked into the penthouse apartment and the presidential
suit of the Beverly Wilshire Hotel with Gene and Junior Smith, George Klein,
Arthur Hooton and Bitsy Mott. The band remained at the downtown Knickerbocker Hotel.

1960

Recording continued from 12.30 p.m. But due to new union rules regarding
length of sessions and prescribed breaks it was not an successful session and arrangements
were made to continue the following week at Radio Recorders where Elvis had always felt
more at home.

1966

During Elvis’ stay at home, movies were screened at the Crosstown Theater almost every night.

1967

Rumors of Elvis’ imminent marriage appeared in the press just as members of the
wedding party began to assemble in Palm Springs

1973

Elvis performed at the Coliseum, Spokane, Washington at 3.00 and 8.00 p.m. at 3p, the
crowd was 6500 and Elvis wore fire suit with original belt. At 8pm the crowd was 6400
and Elvis wore “1973 american eagle” suit with the second belt.

1975

Elvis performed at the Civic Center Arena, Lakeland, Florida at 8:30pm. The crowd was 8200 and
Elvis wore the “Navy blue two-piece” suit with blue armadillo.

1977

Elvis performed at the Brown County Veterans Memorial Coliseum, Green Bay, Wisconsin at 8:30pm. The crowd was 6532 and Elvis wore Mexican sundial with original belt.
