Thomas AndrewColonel TomParker (born Andreas Cornelis van Kuijk; June 26, 1909 – January 21, 1997) was a Dutch-born American talent manager, best known as the manager of Elvis Presley.  His management of Presley defined the role of masterminding talent management, which involved every facet of the client’s life and was seen as central to the success of Presley’s career.

Colonel Parker alias Andreas Cornelis of Kuijk was born in Breda on June 26, 1909.Parker was the son of Adam and Marie van Kuijk. He earned money with odd jobs, including carrying luggage for travelers at the station, and walking with signs of circuses that visited the city.

They never had a marked contract in that capacity it was finished with the shake of a hand. Colonel Parker took an astounding half administration expense from Elvis, yet Elvis wasn't flustered he knew he would make enough to share and he was constantly thankful to the Colonel.
