  3. I’ ve been to Graceland and Tupelo so often, that they both feel like home to me. Especially Graceland. I could tie scarf over my eyes and know exactly where I would be and how to get where I want to go.
Beautiful, majestic and peacefull. The people of the South were very much that way as well. That’s what made it a wonderful second home.
However; to go now, there is a lot more at stake when it comes to crime and criminal activity. Elvis’s life has been commercialized to a point that, not only is the eperience expensive, but feels artificial and not even close to what it once was.
After Elvis had passed away, I befriended many of his old school buddies and friends and took delight in seeing them every year. Eventually, they have all passed away, and now I feel orphaned out. Even their kids are not the same as the world we live in has certainly gone in another direction. I will say this however; unless you have grown up enjoying Elvis’s music, then you have missed out on a precious part of life. Take Care! TCB.

I completely agree! I feel the same way! Was there when Elvis was alive and Mr. Vester Presley was the gates keeper. All around it was pure country, the EP Blvd. was then Highway 51 South and the mansion sat majestically, charismatic, charming and somewhat mysterious on its hill! Nowadays, with all the commerce around it, Graceland sits there as just one more building amongst the stores, museums and hotels as a part of the whole chain of businesses. Sadly, it has lost its charm and its mystery.

  4. Mă bucur ptr toți cei care au avut ocazia să viziteze acel loc minunat cu siguranță este mirific, și eu îmi doresc enorm de mult dar știu că nu o să ajung niciodată ☹️
