Elvis Presley indeed served in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Germany. He was stationed in Grafenwöhr, which is a military base in Bavaria, Germany, for a brief period from October 1958 to March 1960. During his service, he was a part of the 3rd Armored Division’s 1st Medium Tank Battalion, and his time in Germany influenced his music and personal life significantly. His presence there garnered attention, and he continued to have a massive following even during his service in the army.
