Speedway is a musical film by Norman Taurog (director), with Elvis Presley and Nancy Sinatra, from 1968. The Elvis Presley film was produced by Douglas Laurence and has a running time of 94 minutes.

The racing scenes were filmed at Lowe’s Motor Speedway – Speedway Parkway, Concord, North Carolina and Riverside International Raceway, Riverside, California.
Elvis announced during filming that Priscilla is pregnant.
MGM cameraman Joseph Ruttenberg shot the racing scenes in the film. In the course of his career he won the Oscar 4 times for the films The Great Waltz (1938), Mrs. Miniver (1942), Somebody Up There Likes Me (1956) and Gigi (1958). Speedway was Ruttenberg’s last film. He retired after filming.
Nancy Sinatra and Elvis got along really well. During one day of filming, Elvis locked her in the cloakroom and Sinatara couldn’t appear on the set on time. Another day, Nancy and Elvis burst out laughing so often during one scene that director Norman Taurog gave them the rest of the day off.
