On March 26, 1957, Elvis bought Graceland for $ 102,500. After extensive renovations, the villa reflected Elvis’ taste in furnishings.

Elvis and his family moved into their new home on June 26, 1957, which can be found today at 3734 Elvis Presley Boulevard, Memphis, TN 38116, USA.
The former Graceland farm was built by Stephen Cummings Toof, a publisher who worked for the Memphis Daily Appeal for a while before setting up his own business with the S. C. Toof Printing Company.

The most important extensions include the wall around Graceland, the swimming pool, the racquetball room, the jungle room with a waterfall and the wrought-iron Music Gate, which was designed by Abe Saucer and built by John Dillard

It is also worth knowing that Elvis recorded his last two albums “From Elvis Presley Boulevard, Memphis, Tennessee” and “Moody Blue” in the Jungle Room. For this purpose, the room was specially converted into a recording studio.
The garden is bordered with a semicircular brick wall. The wall was provided with different church windows. The garden is an absolute magnet for visitors to Graceland.

After the mansion was opened to the public on June 7, 1982, up to 600,000 visitors visit Graceland every year
