5 Reasons Why We Love Elvis Presley too Much

Universal appeal

While there were numerous parents that forbade their daughters from partaking in the Elvis movement, a lot has happened since his iconic performance on The Ed Sullivan Show. It’s almost comical nowadays thinking that Elvis was censored by the show by only shooting his upper body during his performance, so as to not show off his hip thrusts. Instead, Elvis has become an icon with universal appeal. To quote the film Castaway, “Elvis Presley. Fifty million fans can’t be wrong.”
