The Alden sisters were introduced to Elvis by Georg Klein. Klein had brought the 3 of them to Graceland, and instead of what he thought, Elvis was not attracted to Terry, but to the youngest, Ginger. Ginger Alden was only 19 years old and the current Miss Mid-South Fair.
ALDEN, GINGER: (1954- ) Girlfriend of Elvis and the sister of Terry Alden and Rosemary Alden. Terry was Miss Tennessee in 1976. Elvis first saw Terry on local television and wished to meet her, so a meeting was set up by Memphis disc jockey, George Klein.
Ginger accompanied Terry to the meeting, but Elvis became fascinated with Ginger rather than Terry, Ginger was Memphis’^ “Miss Traffic Safety” and “Miss Mid-South” (both in 1976), as well as first runner-up for the title of “Miss Tennessee University” in 1976. Ginger, who was 19 years younger than Elvis.

KS: Finally, is there a moment in your life with Elvis that you’d like to relive one more time?
GA: Wow…It would have to be when Elvis and I became engaged. He took my hand and walked me into his bathroom and had me sit in a chair and got on bended knee and said many beautiful things to me and presented me with my engagement ring.
