These pictures are from the last time I saw Elvis, May 29, 1977. I was suhaking so hard I could hardly put the lei around his neck. He laughed and asked me why I was shaking so hard, when he was the one on stage doing all the work!! I asked him to sing Unchained Melody. He kissed me, gave me a scarf and went to the piano. I had never heard anything so beautiful. That night will stay with me forever. When I saw the movie, and the ending of the movie, I was no more good. It just broke my heart again. I’ll still see the movie again, but it is really tough getting through that ending. There will never be another. I think George Klein said it best “If you’re an Elvis fan, no explanation is necessary. If you’re not an Elvis fan, no explantion is possible”!!
